Before I leave

...to Scotland, I should make up for at least some of the backlog.

(This is the 1st time I've used this word. I'll be happy if you alert me that it's not possible to use that way :-))
(When I come to think of it, is there any etymological connection between "backlog" and "b-log"?)

And the winner is...

A reunion with Radka Milenkovic,
an unbelievable - and above all unbelievably amiable - person
(half-Czech, half-Yugoslavian, born and living in London...).

No idea if it was brought about by the number of hours I hadn't slept the night before,
but there was a point when I wasn't sure
if there hadn't been a mistake in the space-time continuum
which would have taken me actually INSIDE a British sitcom.

Just couldn't make up my mind which one.

(All I remember is the laughter wasn't pre-recorded.)
